Butterfly Necklace and Earrings

This easy to make Necklace and Earring set can be accented with any color gemstone that compliments the outfit you are wearing.
Die cut black and white Butterflies make this a quick 15 minute project.

Materials
Needed:

Shrinky Dinks Die Cut Butterfly shapes BLACK – 1 Large, 2 Medium (Item BFDC chose BLACK).

Shrinky Dinks Die Cut Butterfly shapes BRIGHT WHITE - 1 Medium, 2 Small
(Item BFDC chose BRIGHT WHITE).
-
Pierced (Post) adhesive back earring packs (Item 830P)
-
3 - 10mm x 6 mm Oval faceted stones (Choose your favorite color)
-
12 mm Jump Ring (Item 870)
-
E6000 Glue
-
¼” Hole Punch (Item D842)
-
Cording, Ribbon or Chain (Item D444) for the necklace.
How To Make

1.
Punch a hole in the top of the Large Black Butterfly shape.

2.
Shrink White and Black Butterfly shapes according to package instructions. Allow to cool. |

3. Necklace Pendant: Stack Medium White Butterfly onto the Large Black Butterfly and glue into place. Adhere the faceted gem to the center of the White Butterfly with the E6000…allow all pieces to dry completely. Insert Jump ring through the hole at the top of the pendant and insert the chain, ribbon or cord of your choice. |

4. Earrings: Stack Small White Butterflies onto the Medium Black Butterflies and glue into place. Adhere the faceted gems to the center of the White Butterfly with the E6000…allow pieces to dry completely. Attach earring posts to the center back of each earring piece. |
